Allure Nails Gel Polish is a premium gel polish which is highly pigmented and smooth to apply and should be used with our Allure LED curing lamp along with our Allure Base & Top Coat for perfect & long lasting results. Our gel polish will cure in 60 seconds under LED lamp or 2 minutes under UV lamp.

Step 1: Prep your nails

• Gently push back or trim your cuticles. 
• Shape your nails by filing them to your desired length and shape. 
• Lightly buff the surface of your nails with a fine-grit file or buffer to remove the natural shine, which helps the gel adhere. 
• Wipe your nails with a nail cleanser, alcohol, or acetone to remove dust, oil, and debris. 

Step 2: Apply the base coat

• Apply a thin, even layer of gel base coat, making sure to avoid getting it on your skin or cuticles. 
• If you get any polish on your skin, wipe it off before curing. 
• "Cap" the free edge of the nail by brushing a thin layer of polish along the tip to help prevent chipping. 
• Cure the base coat under a UV/LED lamp for the time recommended by the manufacturer (e.g., 30-60 seconds). It's normal for the surface to feel tacky after curing. 

Step 3: Apply the colour coat(s)

• Apply a thin coat of your chosen gel colour, again avoiding the skin and cuticles. 
• Use the tip of your brush to push the polish close to the cuticle to create a clean line, then use long, smooth strokes to paint down the nail. 
• "Cap" the free edge of the nail with the color coat. 
• Cure the coat for the recommended time. 
• Apply a second (or third) thin coat of colour, curing after each one, until you achieve your desired opacity. 

Step 4: Apply the top coat

• Apply a thin, even layer of gel top coat over the colour, making sure to also cap the free edge.
• Cure the top coat according to the manufacturer's instructions. 

Step 5: Finish and clean up

• After the final cure, the gel will likely have a sticky "inhibition layer". 
• Wipe this tacky layer from your nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in a cleanser or pure acetone. 
• For added moisture, apply cuticle oil to the skin around your nails.
